Find the right fit

## Could Microsoft search ads help your business?

Microsoft can be your first advertising channel or part of a wider plan. What matters is whether it can reach the customers you want.

### Ways to start

#### Start your first campaign

Build a search campaign around the products or services you want more people to find.

#### Improve existing ads

Review what you spend, the searches your ads reach, and how customers respond. Find what needs attention.

#### Reach more search customers

Add Microsoft alongside other advertising and assess its results on their own merits.

### Before you invest

#### Relevant search demand

The strongest starting point is an offer people are looking for in the areas you serve.

#### A useful destination

Help people understand your offer and make it easy to contact you or buy after they click.

#### A realistic advertising budget

Allow room to learn what works. Plan spending around your goals without assuming a certain cost per lead.

From channel to customer

## Connect a relevant search to a useful next step.

Search ads work best when the search, the message, and the page people visit belong together.

1. Search

  ### People look for what you offer

Your ads can appear in relevant searches on Bing and partner search sites.
2. Consider

  ### Your ad makes the offer clear

Give people a reason to choose your business, with useful details and a clear invitation to learn more.
3. Act

  ### The next step matches their need

Take people to a relevant page where they can explore, inquire, or buy. Add supported call options when useful.

What stays under control

## Focus your ads on what you want to sell.

WaveHello manages the campaign around your priorities. You keep control of the budget and the account your business owns.

### Searches that fit your offer

Choose relevant search topics, review actual search terms, and exclude those that do not fit.

### Locations and ad placements

Focus on the areas you serve and review where ads appear across Microsoft's network.

### A budget you approve

You approve the advertising budget and changes to it. We review spending and performance to guide adjustments.

### An account you control

Keep the account and campaign history your business owns, including when moving from another provider.

How management works

## From campaign setup to ongoing improvement.

Build a new campaign or improve one you already have. Keep learning from the results after launch.

1. ### Plan around your goal

Agree on what to promote, who to reach, and the budget. Review existing ads when available.
2. ### Build or adapt the campaign

Create the ads, search settings, and tracking. An existing Google campaign can be adapted where useful; importing is optional.
3. ### Launch and learn

Run the agreed campaign and review which searches, ads, and destinations bring useful responses.
4. ### Refine what works

Use performance and customer feedback to improve the ads and guide spending choices.

Agreed scope

## Microsoft Ads support shaped around your business.

We agree on the work before starting. Your plan can include:

- New campaign planning or a review of existing ads
- Business-owned account setup or an agreed campaign import
- Ad copy, search targeting, locations, schedules, and exclusions
- Destination recommendations and campaign tracking setup
- Ongoing campaign management and spending review
- Reporting on ad performance and available customer outcomes

## See which inquiries become customers.

See what you spent and how people responded. Where matching follow-up records are available, compare ad responses with qualified inquiries, bookings, or sales. Platform-reported results stay separate from confirmed customer outcomes.

Use it the way it fits

## Keep the parts of your setup that work.

### Use your current website

Run campaigns with relevant pages on your existing site. Any new landing pages or website changes are agreed separately.

### Build on existing campaigns

A suitable Google Ads campaign can provide a starting point. We adapt it for Microsoft and review its settings before launch.

### Connect follow-up when useful

Use compatible customer-management tools to follow inquiries through to outcomes. Any extra integration work is agreed separately.

Campaign settings affect where ads appear across Microsoft's network, including placements beyond search. Available options vary by account and market. Microsoft controls ad approval and delivery; rankings, lead costs, and sales are not guaranteed.

Can WaveHello manage the advertising accounts I already have?

Yes. WaveHello can help with existing campaigns or build new ones around your offer, audience, and budget. Your business keeps ownership of its advertising accounts, with agreed access for management.

Management can cover Google Search, eligible Google Local Services Ads, Facebook and Instagram, or Microsoft Advertising. You do not need every channel. We select the work around your goals, and keep advertising spend separate from management fees.

My ads get clicks but not inquiries. Is the problem the ads or the website?

Either can be part of the problem, and the first step is to follow the customer's path. Check the searches or audiences bringing visitors, whether the landing page matches the ad, and whether calls or form submissions work and reach your team.

Also check what the campaign counts as a conversion. A click on a button is not necessarily a completed inquiry. Separate traffic quality, website usability, measurement, and follow-up before choosing what to change.

Why are cheaper leads not turning into more customers?

A lower lead cost can still be poor value if fewer inquiries match your service, location, or buying needs. Compare the cost of a qualified inquiry and a customer—not only the cost of a submitted form.

Use the same definitions and reporting period when comparing campaigns. Ask your team why inquiries are not progressing: unsuitable requests, missed follow-up, price, timing, or something else. That distinction matters before increasing spend.

Why does my ad report show conversions I cannot match to bookings or sales?

A conversion is the action the account has been configured to count. It might be a call, submission, or another event—not a completed sale. Reporting dates and attribution rules can also differ from the records in your CRM.

First identify the counted action. Then compare the corresponding inquiry and business record using compatible dates. Keep inquiries, qualified leads, booked work, and paid revenue distinct so the report tells you what actually happened.
